Terms of Service

Last updated: June 13, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Medetora point-of-sale, inventory, and marketplace platform for pharmacies and warehouses. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1.Definitions

  • "Platform" or "Service": the Medetora application, its systems, and its features.
  • "User": the pharmacy, warehouse, supplier, or employee that holds an account.
  • "Marketplace": the feature that lets pharmacies order goods from warehouses and suppliers.
  • "Content": the data you enter or upload to the platform.

2.Acceptance and eligibility

You must be a business or person legally authorised to carry out pharmacy or related commercial activity, and able to enter into a binding contract. By using the platform, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3.Accounts and registration

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through your account, and must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We may suspend any account we suspect is being misused.

4.Description of the service

Medetora provides tools for point-of-sale, inventory management, and batch and expiry tracking, plus a marketplace connecting pharmacies with warehouses, and AI-assisted features. We may add, modify, or discontinue features from time to time.

5.Subscriptions, billing, and payment

Some features may require a paid subscription; pricing plans and billing cycles are shown at sign-up. Unless stated otherwise, fees are paid in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.

Marketplace payments between pharmacies and warehouses are typically made in cash on delivery, and settling those amounts is the responsibility of the two parties to the transaction.

6.The Medetora marketplace

Medetora acts as a technical intermediary enabling communication and ordering between pharmacies and warehouses; it is not a party to the sale contract between them and does not guarantee the quality, availability, or delivery timing of goods. Responsibility for the accuracy, pricing, and delivery of products rests with the warehouse or supplier, and responsibility for ordering and payment rests with the pharmacy.

If a dispute arises between two parties to a transaction, we may provide a mechanism to help resolve it without assuming liability for the outcome.

7.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Enter false or misleading data.
  • Attempt unauthorised access to the systems, or harm or disrupt the platform.
  • Infringe the rights of others or applicable pharmacy-practice regulations.

8.AI features and medical disclaimer

Smart features such as prescription scanning, drug-interaction checks, and reorder suggestions are decision-support aids only and may contain errors. Full professional responsibility for verifying the correctness of medicines, dosages, and dispensing remains with the licensed pharmacist, and the platform is not a substitute for professional judgment or medical advice.

9.Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the platform, its software, designs, and trademarks remain the property of Medetora. They may not be copied, modified, or redistributed without prior written permission.

10.User content and data

You retain ownership of the content you enter and grant Medetora a limited licence to use it as needed to operate the service. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content and for having the right to upload it.

11.Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.

12.Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Medetora shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, and its total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid for the service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

13.Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and defend Medetora against any claims or losses arising from your use of the platform, your breach of these terms, or your violation of the rights of others or applicable regulations.

14.Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate the service for breach of these terms or for legal or operational reasons. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions intended to survive (such as intellectual property and limitation of liability) remain in effect after termination.

15.Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Syrian Arab Republic, and the competent Syrian courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, unless the parties agree on an alternative dispute-resolution mechanism.

16.Changes to the terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date; your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the changes.
